The Levante shirt for the 2022-2023 season has a design that evokes the shirt from the club’s first promotion to the Primera División in the 1960s. The shirt features vertical stripes in navy blue-maroon. Within the navy blue stripes, two thinner stripes in a lighter tone-on-tone blue appear on the outer sides.
Levante UD is a Spanish football team based in the city of Valencia, founded in 1909. Throughout its history, it has experienced ups and downs, playing in different divisions of Spanish football. The team achieved its greatest achievement by winning the Copa del Rey in 1937, during the Spanish Civil War. Since then, Levante UD has struggled to stay in the Primera División and has achieved some notable results, including a Europa League qualification in 2012 and a historic sixth place finish in the 2013-14 season. The team plays its home matches at the Ciudad de Valencia stadium, which seats over 25,000 spectators.
